Parts of Speech: - All the English words are dividedinto eight groups according to work they do inasentence. Each group is called Parts of Spee

(1.) Noun

(2.) Pronoun

(3.) Adjective

(5.) Adverb

(6.) Preposition

(7.) Conjunction

(8.) Interjection

Noun: - A noun isa naming word.

Or, A noun is the name of person, place, thing, ideaor feeling etc.

Or, All the things which are our surrounded have aname, called Noun.

E.g.- Rohan, Rani, India, Horse, Rice etc.

Pronoun: - Pronoun is a word which comes insteadof noun.

Or, Pronoun is a word which comes in the place ofnoun & avoid its repetition in a sentence.

E.g.- He, She, It, You, They, I, We etc.

Adjective: - An Adjective is a word which qualifiesnoun or pronoun.

Or, An Adjective is a word which comes before anoun or after pronoun after that qualifies it.E.g.- Cute, Small, etc.

Rani is a cute girl.

Verb:- A verb is a word which shows action ofanything. Or, when we do any works, it means ourbody is in motion, called Verb.

E.g.- Read, Write, etc.

Adverb :- An Adverb qualifies a verb, an adjectiveor another adverb.

E.g.- Slowly, Carefully, too, very, etc.

Or, An Adverb is a word used to add something tothe meaning of a verb, an adjective or anotheradverb.

E.g.- In, Into, On, At, to, etc.My book is on the table.

Preposition :- A Preposition is a word placed beforea noun or a pronoun to show its relation to someother word in the sentence.

Conjunction :- A Conjunction is a word used to joinwords, phrases, clauses or sentence together.E.g.- And, But, Or, Because, Though, Yet, etc.

Interjection :- A Interjection is a word whichexpresses some sudden feeling or emotion
E.g.- Alas, Oh, Ah, Hurrah, Hello, etc.
